The things people actually ask
What is a deductible?
It is the maximum you would pay towards damage or theft. With a $850 deductible, the most you can be asked for is $850 no matter what the repair costs. With no deductible, you pay nothing.
Does my credit card already cover me?
Some cards include rental cover, but many exclude Aruba, exclude certain vehicle types, or require you to decline our protection entirely. Check with your card issuer before you travel — and note that a card claim usually means paying us first and reclaiming later.
Can I decline protection completely?
Yes. If you choose to continue without protection you are liable for damage and theft up to the full value of the vehicle plus administrative fees. We will explain this again at pickup so there are no misunderstandings.
Is theft included?
Theft protection is included in all our paid protection levels. It is not included if you decline protection.
Do you hold a deposit on my card?
A refundable security deposit applies and varies by vehicle — it is shown on your booking summary before you confirm. Choosing a lower deductible generally means a smaller hold.
