Rental terms & conditions

The driver must hold a valid driver's licence, meet the minimum age shown for the chosen vehicle, and have held the licence for the minimum period shown. The licence must be presented at pickup. Only drivers named on the rental agreement may drive the vehicle.

Rental days are counted in 24-hour periods from the pickup time. Returning materially later than the agreed return time may be charged as an additional day. Please tell us in advance if you need to extend.

Your financial responsibility for damage or theft depends on the protection level you select at booking. If you decline protection you are liable up to the full value of the vehicle plus administrative fees. Protection does not cover deliberate damage, driving under the influence, unauthorised drivers, or use outside Aruba.

Vehicles are supplied with a recorded fuel level and should be returned at the same level. Missing fuel is charged at the pump price plus a refuelling fee.

A refundable deposit is taken at pickup and released after the vehicle is returned and inspected. The amount is shown on your booking summary.

On Aruba only, on roads suitable for the vehicle. Beach driving, off-road use beyond marked tracks, and taking the vehicle off the island are not permitted.

Bookings may be cancelled free of charge. As no payment is taken at booking, there is nothing to refund.

We collect only what is needed to complete the rental: your contact details, driver details and licence. Driver documents are stored privately and are visible only to authorised Jusal Aruba staff. We do not store payment card numbers.
